Prayer Walk

On Friday, October 14, God blessed us with a wonderful time on a prayer walk either on campus or downtown. Despite the rainy weather, it was a great application of 1 Timothy 2:1-4:

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

It was also a great preparation for Evangelism Night on the 28th. Please continue to pray for that night. Hopefully you will all become comfortable walking around, praying in public, approaching strangers and just being generally sketchy (but for God's glory of course!) Remember what Romans 1:16-17 says:

"16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, 'The righteous shall live by faith.' "

So be encouraged brothers and sisters! Be sketch for the Gospel! And remember to pray, pray, pray!!
